About Liz Gottainer
Liz Gottainer is a seasoned real estate professional with over 30 years of experience. She is known for her expertise in luxury properties and her dedication to client satisfaction. Since joining the prestigious Christies International Real Estate - Aaron Kirman Group in 2018, the top-ranked team in Los Angeles by sales, Liz has built a reputation for her meticulous attention to detail, deep market knowledge, and ability to connect clients with their dream homes.
Liz’s real estate career started in her hometown of Chicago, where she worked in her family’s commercial real estate business. After purchasing her first home, Liz realized her passion was residential real estate and began specializing in new construction condominiums and luxury lofts sales.
In 2003, Liz relocated to Los Angeles to take on the role of Director of Sales and Marketing for two of the most iconic residential loft developments in the downtown LA Arts District: Toy Factory Lofts and The Biscuit Company Lofts. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in selling 250 units and generating $100 million in sales. Her efforts helped reshape the neighborhood, paving the way for future downtown residential development.
With this diverse background, Liz offers her clients a unique perspective, drawing from her experience working with developers, investors, first-time homebuyers, and sophisticated sellers alike. Today, she focuses on the luxury market, representing both buyers and sellers in high-end neighborhoods such as Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Hancock Park, Hollywood Hills, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, and Encino.
In addition to real estate sales, Liz has also developed and sold custom homes in coveted areas like Santa Monica, Hollywood, and Hancock Park. Her clients appreciate her deep understanding of the market and her ability to navigate complex transactions with ease. Many of her clients return for future transactions or refer her to others, a testament to the trust and respect she has earned.
Outside of her professional work, Liz is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She serves as a member of the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors, where she plays an active role in the Executive Cabinet and has co-chaired several fundraising events, including the annual Rock for Research summer concerts.
Liz currently resides in Sherman Oaks with her husband and two teenage children, and remains as passionate about her work as she is about making a positive impact in her community.
